The Mossgiel Park Indonesian Ambassadors meet each fortnight. Each fortnight, Ambassadors choose a focus phrase (frasa fokus) to introduce into their classrooms. They will display a poster and encourage their teacher and fellow students to use this phrase.

This fortnight, Ambassadors are focusing on phrases to express hunger.

If you are hungry, you can say ‘Saya lapar!‘ (I’m hungry)

 

If you want to ask ‘Who is hungry?’, you would ask ‘Siapa lapar?‘

 

If you are not hungry, you would say ‘Saya tidak lapar’ (I’m not hungry)
